Important Note

This is an algorithmic-based sendout test to Tempus Lab.

This test behaves as the sendout order for the AP lab to use for the tissue component.  The lab will determine the best surgical case on a patient to use for this sendout.  Nothing needs to be physically collected for this order.

Testing Algorithm

Based on the selection for the "Current Cancer Diagnosis" question present on the order placed by the clinic, the in-house IHC Biomarker testing below will be performed (column 2) in addition to molecular testing performed at Tempus.  Molecular orders initiated by "advanced" reflex tasks in pathology also initiate in-house IHC Biomarker/prognostic testing (column 3) that will be performed prior to sending out to Tempus for molecular testing.

Head and Neck HNSCC Squamous Cell Carcinoma: HER2 (GI scoring).  Salivary Gland Carcinoma:  HER2 (breast scoring). PD-L1 in all HNSCC (except p16 + OroP HNSCC).  Advanced HNSCC: peth reflex PD-L1, Her.
