Important Note

Test subject to Medicare National Coverage Determination (NCD) 190.26 Carcinoembryonic Antigen.

If CSF is submitted, test will be sent to Mayo Clinic Laboratories (Mayo Test ID CEASF).  Pancreatic cyst fluid is sent to Mayo - see Mayo CEAPC, LAB3144.  All other fluid CEA requests must be approved by a supervisor or Pathologist.
