This order includes reflex testing, if appropriate, and there is no option to decline it.  If there are >=10 WBC/hpf in the sediment, the test will reflex to BACTERIAL CULTURE, URINE (LAB239, URC), which is subject to Medicare National Coverage Determination (NCD) 190.12 Urine Culture, Bacterial.
